Starting Reformer Pilates can feel like a lot: the carriage moves, springs change, and the exercise names are new. At Glow, we make the first step simple so curiosity can replace uncertainty.

Foundations is the best place to begin. It explains the essential cues, keeps the pace accessible and gives you time to understand how your body responds on the machine.

A class designed for first times

Foundations is not “easy” in the sense that nothing happens. It is clear, progressive and attentive. You will work, but your teacher takes time to explain the settings, purpose and options.

You will learn how to feel central stability, coordinate breath with movement and understand why the Reformer is useful for controlled strength. The goal is to leave with more understanding, not with the feeling that you were left behind.

Small group, real attention

With a maximum of six people, your teacher can look at your alignment, correct a detail and offer a variation without stopping the whole class. That closeness makes a first session feel much more comfortable.

You do not need to know Pilates vocabulary, be flexible or have a regular fitness routine. We simply ask you to arrive a few minutes early, wear grip socks and tell us if something does not feel comfortable.

After your first class

After Foundations, you can repeat the same format to consolidate the basics or try Signature if you want a more flowing rhythm. If you prefer even more personal support, a private session can also be a good bridge.

The intro offer gives you time to try several classes over two weeks. It is often the best way to understand your rhythm, your preferences and the moment of the week when practice supports you most.
